[Online] Communication and Distance

Description

This study aims at developing theoretically sound and valid scale for perceived social distance. Participants will take part in an online experiment, in which you will read a short story about a person who suffered from an illness. You will then answer questions about your perceptions of the person and the illness.

Eligibility

Students enrolled in COMM 1100 and other upper division communication courses that offer extra credit for research participation are eligible to participate. Students enrolled in COMM 1500 are NOT eligible to participate in this opportunity.

Time to Complete

20-30 minutes
