[Online] Communicating in Friendships


The objective of this study is to better understand the role of friend’s communication on individuals’ health.  

Supervisor: Dr. Analisa Arroyo


Students enrolled in COMM 1110 and other upper division communication courses (3000 and 4000 levels) that offer extra credit for research participation are eligible to participate. Students enrolled in COMM 1500 are NOT eligible to participate in this study.


Time to Complete

20 minutes


Female participants will need to ask a same sex platonic friend to participate in this study with them. Both the student and the partner will complete an online survey. 

Once you sign up, you will receive an email that contains further instructions on how to proceed next. Please register by 03/01/2018 to receive the instructions. Surveys must be completed no later than 03/09/2018
